Massage therapy helps reduce stress, relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote overall relaxation and well-being.
We offer Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sports massage. We also offer add-ons such as hot stone massage, aromatherapy and Hand & Foot scrub. Check out the Service section for more information.
Our prices vary depending on the length of the session, the add-ons selected and whether it is a mobile massage or in our spa location. Please visit our Booking page for more information.
We’ve included an intake form when you book your session with in-depth questions to establish which areas you would like focused on, or if there are any specific conditions needing to be addressed. It is important to list all health concerns and medication so that your Massage Therapist can adapt the session to your specific needs without causing any harm. It is also important to specify any allergies so that your therapist may adjust the oil or cream being used during your visit.
You may undress to your level of comfort. Many people prefer to keep their underwear on during a massage, while others choose to be nude. Your Massage Therapist will leave the room so you can undress and lie on the massage table under a top sheet. Regardless if you choose to maintain some clothing or not, your massage therapist will always ensure that you are properly draped & covered.
In general, massages should not hurt. In fact, if you are in pain during a massage, this may cause your muscles to seize up (protective muscle guarding) making the relaxing effects more difficult to achieve. Your therapist will ask how the pressure is periodically throughout the session. If pressure is too intense, speak up immediately so your therapist can adjust. Similar to a productive workout, a good massage may leave you sore but in general, you should not experience pain during or after your massage.
Some people enjoy having a conversation during their massage but keep in mind, focusing on your breathing is key. Be sure to speak up during the massage if there is anything you’d like adjusted (table temperature, pressure, music, etc).
It is very common for guests to fall asleep during their massage. If you snore, drool, pass gas don’t worry, we do not judge. It shows how relaxed you are !
Rest assured, massage therapists have seen & felt it all! Please do not feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. Your massage therapist is focused on creating a relaxing and therapeutic experience for you, and you cannot relax if you are anxious about your body’s appearance. Lets bring the focus back to your breathing.
Lets say you wanted to do a full body massage:, in this example, we would recommend doing a 90min session. This will give your therapist more time to devote to each area
Now our 60min session is ideal when you want to focus on a targeted area. For example: some people request only to focus on their Neck and shoulders.
Deep tissue massage is focused and specific work. The Massage Therapist uses firm sustained pressure to relieve pain and release tension.
Sports massage is specifically designed for people involved in physical activity. It incorporates stretching, musculoskeletal alignment techniques, compression and range of motion. The Massage Therapist customizes the sport massage according to your personal goals for injury prevention and increased flexibility as well as your training schedule.
Parking is located in the back of the spa, towards right hand side
In general, there are a few conditions that would prevent you from getting a massage. Of course, do not schedule an appointment if you are feeling unwell, have a fever, cold, or a skin condition that is contagious. The first trimester of pregnancy is generally considered off-limits for massage, as are active chemotherapy or other intensive medical treatments. If you have a serious medical condition and you are unsure if a massage would be safe for you, massage therapists will recommend that you speak with your primary care provider to get approval first.
Individual preference varies, so for most it depends on your pain, physical needs, emotional needs, and of course, budget. Receiving a massage regularly has the most benefit; this can be as often as weekly or monthly. With our Essential and Ultimate packages, you get 4 massages for the price of 3, making it easier to include the benefits of massage therapy in your life and within your budget. We got your back…literally
Many clients are unsure if and/or how much they should tip their massage therapist. We recommend you think of your massage therapist as you would a waiter in a restaurant. Our therapists love what they do, and your tip may reflect your appreciation for their service. We recommend tipping percentages be based on the full price of a regular massage, rather than the discounted price. For most people, this ranges from 15-25% depending on their level of satisfaction with the treatment.
